Our story
A passion passed down from father to son!
We purchased the estate in 1977. Clearing, draining, and plowing were part of the work to be done. This large space invited us to choose a crop, and after family discussions, we decided on growing a small luxury fruit, the raspberry. Three years later, the raspberry farm Le Cageot was born.
- In 2000, we decided to take on a new challenge and breathe new life into our passion by setting up a small artisanal vineyard.
- In 2002, we set up the first regional center for the artisanal production of alcoholic beverages based on small fruits with a wine, two aperitifs and a liqueur. We also added 13 agri-food processing products: 3 wine vinaigrettes, 3 jams, 3 jellies, 1 honey and 3 lees.
- In 2010, true to our taste for innovation, we completed 2 projects that we had worked on for several years.
- In 2012, we invested more than $300,000 to improve our reception infrastructure: event room, kiosk, winery, etc.
- In 2013, we sold our first vintage of wines: Père & Fils red and Père & Fils white.
- In 2018, a business transfer between the father and son began and new shareholders joined the team, to make way for a large-scale growth project.
- That’s more than $3 million in investment for 2019-2020.
- In 2022, launch of our microdistillery.
